Wimbledon Painters & Decorators
A useful enquiry starts with the property.
Send the Wimbledon address and a short account of the work you are considering. Wide photographs help explain the space; closer views help identify the details that need discussion. The information below can make that first exchange more useful.
Discuss your projectFor a period house or exterior
Show the whole elevation as well as the individual windows, doors, porch or gable. Identify existing painted surfaces and any proposed colour change. Mention known listing or conservation status, previous approvals and repairs that are already planned. If equipment may need to stand beyond the property boundary, include that in the access information rather than assuming it is available.
For a whole-house interior
List the rooms by floor, noting ceilings, walls and joinery separately where possible. Describe the furniture that will remain, any fitted units and the spaces the household cannot release together. Include school and work routines that affect access. If the palette is still open, explain which floors, furnishings and other materials will stay so sample decisions can be made in context.
For a flat or converted property
State the floor level and how people and materials reach the front door. Include any relevant building rules, arrangements for keys and the person responsible for shared surfaces. Make clear whether windows, exterior details or entrance doors are part of the request. Tell us about any stains or damaged areas and the repairs or investigation already undertaken.
For a landlord or lettings instruction
Give the date the property can be assessed, the proposed vacancy period and the intended occupation date separately. Identify other trades, cleaning and inventory arrangements, together with the person who can authorise the work. A quotation needs an agreed scope and suitable access; a target handover date alone does not establish how much preparation or painting can be included.
